have launched an exclusive limited edition for the Halloween seasonal market with packaging created by brand design agency, CHILLI UK.
The Butterkist Limited Edition Grim Green Sweet Popcorn range features bright green popcorn made with natural colours and flavours. It is the first coloured popcorn to launch in the major multiples, and has been developed following consumer research which shows that novelty products are key to driving consumer purchase at Halloween.
The research further suggests that spooky coloured classic treats are particularly popular among consumers. Butterkist’s strong sales during the Halloween season, are indicative of the brand’s resonance with the family sharing occasions.
The Halloween themed bag, which deviates from Butterkist’s classic red packs with a black bag and bright green pumpkin face, aims to have strong shelf appeal and standout.
The Butterkist Limited Edition Grim Green Sweet Popcorn range will be available in leading supermarkets, convenience stores and wholesalers from September onwards.
