Deliciously Ella Disciplines: Packaging

Our packaging for Deliciously Ella’s new range of gluten and dairy-free breakfast cereals stand out in a crowded market.

The healthy food category has become an increasingly difficult one to crack in recent years. The sheer volume of brands all fighting for the same space makes breaking into the market virtually impossible. Deliciously Ella is one of the few success stories and we were delighted when Ella approached us to launch her new breakfast cereals.

The brand was founded by Ella Mills in 2012. After a rare illness forced a radical change in her diet, she began writing about her culinary creations on a blog and her natural, feel-good foods quickly became a huge success.

Our brief was to create clear standout on shelves whilst reinforcing the flavour cues and reflecting Ella’s own values of natural, simple and honest. Our creative focused on stripped back designs and a bold colour palette, and we built in a transparent window so people could see the wholesome ingredients.

We’re as delighted with the results as Ella. “We have really enjoyed working with CHILLI on the packaging,” she said. “I hope our customers love the products as much as we do.”

Since the hugely successful launch of the breakfast cereals, we have created a new range of Oat Bars for Deliciously Ella.
